Established in 1926 on the site of a pottery dating back to the early 1800's, Winchcombe is one of the longest running craft potteries in the country making some of the finest and most practical domestic pottery in the world.

Winchcombe Pottery is located in one of the most attractive parts of England, situated one mile outside of the ancient town of Winchcombe in the heart of the Cotswolds.

We have a shop open to the public on-site and we are always happy to take orders and commissions over the phone or by email.

All members of the pottery team work on every stage of the making process and within all areas of the pottery and its workshop, right from mixing the dry ingredients for the clay, glazes and slips, to welcoming visitors and running the on-site shop. Today, Winchcombe Pottery makes a range of over 60 pots from the original WP range as well as customer commissions and Individual pieces.

The pottery often welcomes students and visiting potters who join for varying lengths of time to gain experience of what is now a rare environment to learn in.
